INNOVATORS. CREATORS. LEADERS. 30 UNDER 30

A more colorful
future.
Artist Eric Waugh turns imagination into opportunity-proving creativity can build brighter worlds.

30 PEOPLE. 30 PAINTINGS. 2 CITIES.
Forbes invited Eric Waugh to take part in its annual 30 Under 30 issue, creating original paintings inspired by 30 of the young innovators being photographed for the magazine.
The sessions took place in New York and San Francisco. Each person came in, we talked, I listened, and then I painted.
No brief. No revisions. No second takes.
Each original was created in less than ten minutes, translating a personality, an idea or a story into one spontaneous piece of art.
The finished paintings became part of the Forbes photo shoot and appeared alongside the honorees in the magazine.
30 people. 30 stories. 30 original works.
